Vegan “Körözött” (Spiced Curd) Scones

Preparation

Add the ground paprika, salt, and pepper to the Cottage, then finely chop the chives and fold them in thoroughly to create the vegan "körözött" cream. Cut shapes out of the puff pastry sheet using a cutter of your choice—you will need 4 cutouts for each scone.

Start layering: place one piece of pastry, add a teaspoon of the vegan "körözött," then place another piece of pastry and another small portion of the cream. Repeat this process twice more (until you have 4 layers of pastry).

Spray the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with black sesame seeds.

Assemble all the scones in this manner.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 10–12 minutes until done.
