Vegajó Ham Spread

Preparation

1. Peel the red onion and cut it into small pieces.

2. Chop the hard-boiled egg and the ham as well.

3. Place all ingredients into a food processor.

4. Blend until creamy (you can leave it chunkier if you prefer).

5. Taste it and add more salt or pepper if needed.

 

Serving
● Best spread on fresh bread or toast

● Makes a great breakfast with vegetables (tomato, pepper, cucumber)

● Perfect for cold platters

 

Tips
● If you want a softer spread: add a little Vegajó Vegagurt (plant-based yogurt alternative) or Vegaföl (vegan sour cream alternative)

● For a stronger flavor, add more horseradish

● Works with chicken breast ham or even smoked tofu instead of regular ham
