Plain Scones

Preparation

  1. Preparation of the dough:
    Mix the dry ingredients, crumble in the grated Plain, then knead together with the almond drink and Vegan crema.
  2. Resting:
    Cover the bowl and keep it in a warm place for 15 minutes.
  3. Shaping:
    After resting, turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead it through, and roll it out to a thickness of 1.5 cm.
    Score the surface and cut out the scones using a 4 cm diameter cutter.
    Knead the remaining scraps together, roll out again, and continue cutting until all the dough is used.

Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

Brushing and topping:
Before baking, brush with the vegan glaze or egg, and sprinkle with grated Vegajó Plain.
